Oracle announced Thursday that its second South Korean cloud area will go live in Chuncheon on May 29. The tech giant will have a total of 36 cloud regions up and running by the end of the year. The new opening follows the launch of the Seoul Cloud area of Oracle in May 2019. A recently caught phishing email did not deliver some kind of malicious payload to the victim, as one would expect, but the executable of the legitimate PowerShell command line utility found in Windows operating system. The phishing message was sent to My Online Security’s inbox and came with a spoofed sender address, pretending to communicate about an invoice, requesting confirmation of the company’s account....

According to Singapore Airlines (SIA), a glitch in software was the cause of a data breach affecting 284 members of its frequent flyer program, compromising various personal information including, passport and flight information.
